Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi has charmed his fan club so much, it gave out goodie bags worth $100 to the media on his behalf歌手-演员 李升基 让他的粉丝会对他如此倾心，粉丝会为他向媒体送出的伴手礼价值超过新币100元

Popular singer-actor Lee Seung Gi sometimes wishes he were part of a boyband rather than a solo act. 很受欢迎的歌手-演员 李升基有时希望他是男孩团体的一员，而不是以个人身份演出的艺人。
That is despite him being one of South Korea’s biggest names, beloved for his polite demeanour and scandal-free nice-guy image. 虽然他是南韩最出名的其中一个艺人，人们最爱的是他有礼的风采与无丑闻的好男人形象。
Speaking to Life! At a sit-down interview at St Regis Singapore last Saturday morning, he explains: “When there is a lot of stress and challenges, it would be nice sometimes to have fellow group members to share that with, so that each member can focus on working on one thing, and that is his strength。”
在星期六早上在新加坡瑞吉酒店（海峡时报） Life!的访问中，他解释道，“当我面对很多压力和挑战时，如果有组合成员偶尔一起分担（压力和挑战），那会很不错。那么每个成员就可以集中精力做一件事，那是力量。”
“As a solo, I have to take on all the burdens myself.”

The day before, he held court at a press conference at Bugis+ mall. 前一天，他刚在Bugis+ Mall举行了记者会。（这里记者用的词是Held court –上朝，有他他掌握全场的意思）
Later on Saturday, he took centre stage at a ticketed fan meeting at the 1,600-seater Festive Grand theatre at Resorts World Sentosa, which a spokesman for the organizer says was “almost sold out”.
上个星期六傍晚，他在圣淘沙名胜世界一千六百人的Festive Grand 剧场举办了售票粉丝会，主办单位的发言人说几乎所有的票都卖完了。
It is his second fan meet here after his last one held at Kallang Theatre in August last year.这是他继去年八月在加冷剧场举办的第二场粉丝会。
One can only imagine the amount of pressure the 26-year-old bachelor must feel at times to keep up with appearances, having been dubbed “Mr Perfect” and “Dream son-in-law” by the media and fans.可以想象这位26岁的单身贵族有时得承受着多大的压力以保持形象，因为媒体和粉丝们给他封的外号是“完美先生”和“梦想的女婿”（国民女婿）。
In July, an entertainment programme on South Korean broadcaster SBS picked the charmer as the country’s “No 1 Husband Material”.七月中，南韩SBS电视台的一个综艺节目封这位魅力男为全国的“第一丈夫人选”。
In monthly rankings released by the Korea Advertisers Association, he has also taken the top spot as most preferred commercial model numerous times.韩国广告协会每个月公布的排名，他无数次荣获最喜欢的广告模特儿第一名。
Of course, he has also proven his worth as a performer, in singing, acting and variety show hosting.理所当然，他也证明了他是个有能力的艺人，不论是歌唱、演戏和综艺主持。
With nine albums to his name, the ballad crooner won the award for best male solo artist at the MNet Asian Music Awards in 2007.目前，他名下已有九张专辑，这位情歌王子是2007年MNet亚洲音乐大奖的最佳男歌手。
Acting wise, he scored two excellence in Acting prizes from SBS drama Awards, one for TV drama Brilliant Legacy (2009) and one for My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox (2010).演戏方面，他得了两个SBS电视剧演技奖，一是灿烂遗产（2009），另一是我的女友是九尾狐（2010）。
His latest fantasy drama, Gu Family book (2013), where he played a half-man, half-beast character, was the most-watched drama in Korea during its time slot for its entire run of 12 weeks.他最新的玄幻电视剧，九家之书（2013），他饰演的是半人半兽的角色，整12个星期里，这是韩国同时段最多人观看的节目。
His appearances on hit variety shows such as 2 Days & 1 Night (2007-2012) and
Strong Heart (2009-2012) have also bagged him many popularity awards.他也出演非常受欢迎的综艺节目如两天一夜（2007-2012） 与强心脏（2009-2012），他凭这两个节目获得许多个最受欢迎艺人奖。
Asked about the pressures of fame, he chuckles and says in Korean via a translator: “Sometimes, it would really be nice to have other teammates to delegate some things to.”问及盛名的压力，他通过翻译员笑着说：“有时，会想说有其他组员能分担工作。”
He says that he would “love-to” come back again one day to stage a full-length concert, but that “many factors such as logistics and scheduling” have hindered him so far. 他说他非常希望再次回来开一场完整的演唱会，但是目前的障碍的许多因素包括地点与时间表。
“ I definitely want to come back though. I don’t get to see my fans in Singapore as often as my fans in Korea, but they are always so warm and welcoming, and whatever they do is always very moving for me.”我一定会回来的。我不像能常见韩国的粉丝那样时常有机会见我新加坡的粉丝，但，她们是那么热情和欢迎我，而且她们做的事让我非常感动。
He is not kidding. Members of his fan club here – known as Lee Seung Gi Singapore and whose Facebook account has more than 2,000 “likes” – showed up in droves to support him at his press conference. On top of the usual screaming, they also diligently prepared 60 bags of goodies to give members of the press.他不是开玩笑的。他这里的粉丝会，名叫李升基新加坡，它的脸书有超过两千个‘喜欢’（赞），都是为了支持他的记者会而点击的。不止是惯常的尖叫，她们还非常勤奋地贴心准备了60个伴手礼给媒体。
Each bag contained two of his latest albums – Tonight (2011) and Forest (2012) – plus premiums with his face printed on them including a mobile case and stickers.每个伴手礼包里都有两张他的最新专辑-Tonight（2011） 和森林（2012），还有印上他的肖像的手机套和粘贴纸。
Chairman of the local fan club Nicole Ko, 28, says that each bag is worth more than $100. The marketing executive, who started the fan club three years ago, says Lee’s “true sincerity” is what won her over.本地粉丝会会长，Nicole Ko （28岁）说每个伴手里的价值超过新币一百元。这位在三年前成立粉丝会的营销执行人员说，她喜欢上李升基是因为他的（真正的）真诚。
She says excitedly: “As fans, we want to thank all the media who have helped report about him in the past. We also want to give his CDs to them so that they can go home and listen to them and learn more about Lee Seung Gi.”她兴奋地说，作为粉丝，我们感谢所有媒体过去帮助报导升基的消息。我们想送他的CD给记者们，那么他们可以回家听他的专辑，进而更认识李升基。
Funding for these bags came form partnerships with other fan clubs of the singer across the world, including South Korea, Japan, Argentina and Turkey.联合资助这些伴手礼的资金来源是这位歌手世界各地的粉丝会，除了本地的粉丝会，其中还包括南韩、日本、阿根廷和土耳其。
Ms Ko adds that the fan club here also prepared various Nonya kueh and sent them to Lee’s hotel so that he could sample them. Ms Ko 接着说粉丝会还准备了各种娘惹糕点（新加坡的土产糕点），送到李升基的酒店让他品尝。
Asked about his extra thoughtful fans, he admits that maybe his nice-guy image has something to do with it.问及他特贴心的粉丝，他承认也许这是因为他的好男人形象的原因。
He says, half in jest: “It’s not that I taught them anything, but fans do match the personality of the celebrity, and we move in the same direction. But really, my fans are wonderful.”他半开玩笑地说： “这不是我教她们的，但粉丝确实会像他们的偶像，我们的有相似的作为。说实在话，我的粉丝都很棒。”
He admits that his perfect image may limit the acting roles his is offered – so far, he has always played the good guy – but he also sounds confident about delivering more variety in future.他承认他的完美形象或许限制了他的戏路，至目前为止，他演的都是好人，但他非常自信他以后会演出的角色会更多样化。
“I do hope that eventually, my acting will be good enough so that no matter what character I play, it is enough to supercede whatever image I have.”我真的希望最终我的演技能演什么像什么，那我就能够克服我的任何形象的问题。
Until then, he is relishing his time as Korea’s Mr Perfect. Top stars including actress Ha Ji Won, 35, and actor Yoon Jae Moon, 42, have openly praised him for being a solid actor and a reliable, good guy.直到那一天，他会细细品味他是韩国的完美先生的荣誉。顶级明星包括演员河智苑（35岁）和尹济文（42岁）都公开称赞李升基是个有实力的演员，还是一个值得信赖的好男人。
Flasing a winsome dimpled smile, he says: ”I have managed to do a lot of things that many people my age would not get the chance to experience, and I’m forever grateful.他露出他迷人的梨涡道：“我完成了很多事，很多人在我这个年纪还没机会得到的经验，我会永远感激在心。”
“I really have nothing at all to complain about my life.”对于我的生命，我真的没有什么可以抱怨的。
